RAYTECK at BUILDEX 2026, Damascus
We took Hall 10, Stand A10 at BUILDEX 2026 — the leading construction and building materials exhibition in Syria — and spent five evenings showing what our fittings do rather than describing them.

BUILDEX runs at the Damascus International Fairground and is the construction industry’s meeting point in Syria — contractors, consultants, architects and suppliers in one hall. The 2026 edition ran from 10 to 14 June, open daily from 5pm to 11pm, and RAYTECK exhibited in Hall 10, Stand A10.
We built the stand as a room rather than a counter: a lit reception desk, product walls at eye height, coves and linear runs in the ceiling, and a seating corner where a drawing could actually be opened. Everything on the walls was switched on, because a wall washer, an anti-glare downlight and a magnetic track are all arguments that only work at 3000K in front of you.
What drew people in was the decorative piece over the desk — a suspended glass-leaf chandelier in clear and amber — and what kept them was the technical wall behind it: spotlights, frames, engines, profiles and drivers, with the cut-outs and finishes beside them.
Five evenings of conversations with contractors and specifiers working across Syria, and a long list of projects to follow up on. Thank you to everyone who came to Stand A10 — and to the visitors who arrived with drawings in hand, which is our favourite way to start.
